Ikertia Fundation is a private Technology Centre (recognised by the Ministry of Science and Innovation in April 2009) specialised in sectors such as railway, energy, construction and leisure/health, set up with the objective to become a world reference in these sectors.

We have over 10 years experience working in the promotion and implementation of Research and Development activities in the mentioned sectors, using several technologies and collaborating with important manufacturers and subcontractors as well as Universities and Institutions.

We are accredited by technology networks from the Basque Country, Spain and Europe and we take part in forums and platforms of scientific and technological interest.

VISION: Become a Technology Centre capable to lead business competitiveness and scientific-technological knowledge in order to satisfy sustainably society needs in terms of transport, energy and quality of life.

MISSION: Promoting R&D in our target sectors through interest group cooperation and being recognised for our results according to the EFQM model.
